Our reputation is the key to our success and in many instances our candidates have gone on to be our key client contacts so we are very conscious that you are the foundation upon which our company is built.

Our Diversity policy:

A further testament of our commitment to both our candidates and clients is that the Claremont group of companies will be one of the very first  recruitment firms to start the journey to be “Clear Assured”, a development programme designed to identify and remove barriers to the recruitment of disabled people. Designed by employers for employers and with Government backing, we will become Clear Assured by undergoing a rigorous self-assessment programme, drawing on evidence from disabled candidates about our recruitment practices and checks by the The Clear Company, the UK’s leading auditors of inclusive recruitment practice - we very much want to be at the forefront of helping to break down the barriers and pre-conceptions that can result in exclusion for candidates across our industry.

In addition, as a professional and respected recruitment organisation Claremont Consulting Ltd actively pursues a policy of never directly (or indirectly) discriminating against any candidate on the grounds of sex, age, marital status, colour/race/ethnic background, nationality (including national origins) or religion - please see our downloads section below to see our corporate Diversity statement.

Candidate Information:

Our monthly timesheet for contractors and interim placements can also be found in our downloads section below; and we work with the following Umbrella/Accountancy partners to assist you as a contractor or interim professional to either work through your own Limited company or through an Umbrella company solution:

For UK based contract placements we will only allow contractors to work through their own Limited company or through an FCSA (Freelance & Contractor Services Association) member, Claremont have agreed partnerships with the following FCSA members to provide umbrella solutions and accountancy services/limited company formation:
The FCSA was formed in 2008 with the aim of setting standards to support and sustain the flexible workforce.  They operate a stringent code of compliance that their members are required to adhere to, demonstrating that they operate legally, ethically and manage all liabilities properly.

Each member company provides payroll, accountancy and administrative support and advice for the professional freelance workforce and are united by their willingness to work to protect the interests of clients and ensure a regulatory environment in which freelance workers can thrive.

The FCSA have realised the strength one collective voice could have, both in promoting the integrity of the industry and in gaining recognition of the professional freelance workforce’s contribution to UK plc.

Through a combined effort, they have initiated an industry-leading code of conduct to drive best practice. FCSA members each undergo an independent review from one of the ‘big four’ accountancy practices, with the review documentation being voluntarily submitted to HMRC. This sets the standard for professional compliance and proving that the FCSA work legally and ethically at all times.

This position gives the FCSA credibility and strength, ensuring their opinions are both heard and respected within the industry and by the Government and regulators.
